Punjab Govt Job Alerts
Get notified about the latest Punjab government vacancies — PSSSB, Punjab Police, PSPCL, Patwari, Clerk, Driver, Forest Guard, and more.
Service Overview
Punjab's government recruitment is spread across several different boards — PSSSB (Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board) for clerks, Group D, and Patwari posts; PPSC (Punjab Public Service Commission) for civil services and gazetted posts; Punjab Police for constable and sub-inspector recruitment; the Department of School Education, Punjab for teaching posts; and various PSU boards like PSPCL and Markfed. Keeping track of all of them separately is genuinely time-consuming, which is what this service is for.
What This Service Actually Is — and Isn't
We track and relay notification, eligibility, exam date, admit card, and result updates from these boards as they're publicly released. To be completely clear about it: Punjab Saathi is not affiliated with, and does not represent, any government recruitment board — we don't issue notifications, decide who's eligible, conduct exams, or influence results. This is an information and alert service, not a hiring service, and we'd rather be upfront about that than let anyone assume otherwise.
What You Get
- New vacancy notifications as they're released, with a plain-language eligibility summary
- Important dates — application window, exam date, admit card release
- Answer key and result/merit list updates
Once you find a vacancy you're eligible for, we can also help with the actual application form filling — correctly formatted photo/signature, fee payment, and the submission itself.
Two Details That Trip Up First-Time Applicants
Most Punjab government recruitment notifications carry age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories — often 3 to 5 years beyond the general category limit — so it's worth checking the category-wise age limit rather than assuming you're over-age from the general cut-off alone. Many state cadre posts (Punjab Police, PSSSB clerical posts, teaching recruitment) also require a Punjabi language qualification, typically Punjabi as a subject up to matric level — an easy thing to miss until your application gets rejected at the scrutiny stage for not meeting it.
